The new hipClick construction uses an elastic insert panel to stabilize fit and anchor the insert against the rider. An additional band of the body textile, the proven Type.429 used in the UMA GT Shorts, extends higher for comfort, moisture management, and to eliminate coverage gaps in the riding position. The new UMA GT C2 insert features more plush comfort, ideally tuned for long-distance rides.
FEATURED FABRICS
Type.429 wraps with a lightly compressive hold for a streamlined, breathable fit with odorControl and UPF 50+. When the gravel “road” becomes little more than a path and trail-side brush closes in, side panels of Bunny Hop add a barrier against abrasion that stretches and compresses with a 50/50 polyamide and elastane blend, and Rete 110 mesh provides secure, bi-stretch support for the pockets.
CONSTRUCTION/FIT
The streamlined regularFit provides total comfort and stabilizing coverage for long rides. Pre-shaped paneling creates a contoured fit across the knees, reducing bunching and wrinkling throughout the pedal stroke.

A waist construction that combines elastic and mesh layers with a high, unrestrictive rise to stabilize the body panels and lock the insert in place.
Raw Cut:
Race-inspired construction that reduces bulk for frictionless layering.
Shock-Absorb Damping Mono 9:
Compressive foam layers in a 9mm endurance platform. Thermoformed shaping reduces ridges and irritation.
goldenGate:
The stitching pattern anchors the front and back but lets the insert’s body float, letting it move with your body rather than against it.
3D Waffle:
A patented, three-layer, perforated foam that increases breathability and eliminates excess weight.
