Buycycle South Africa – Customer Policies
Thank you for choosing Buycycle. Our policies are designed to ensure a smooth, transparent, and efficient shopping experience. Please review the following information regarding shipping, payment, collections, and returns.
1. Shipping & Delivery Policy
We are committed to processing and dispatching your order swiftly. Our partnership with leading couriers, including Logistical Solutions and MDS Couriers, ensures your order is in good hands.
Order Processing:
- All orders are processed upon confirmation of full payment.
- Please ensure your delivery address and contact details are accurate to avoid delays.
- Once your order is processed and dispatched, you will receive an email containing your waybill number(s) and tracking link(s).
Delivery Times & Responsibility:
- Delivery times vary based on your location and the size of the items ordered. Outlying areas may experience longer delivery times.
Typically you will receive your order within 3 – 5 Working Days from receipt of payment. - Orders placed over weekends and public holidays will be processed on the next business day and may experience a slight delay.
- Once dispatched, delivery is managed by our courier partners. We will provide all necessary tracking information and will assist you in liaising with the courier to resolve any issues that may arise during transit.
2. Payment Policy
Processing of your order will only commence once full payment has been received and reflected in our account.
Accepted Payment Methods:
- Credit/Debit Card (via PayFast & Payflex):
- We accept Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and other methods supported by our secure payment gateways.
- When you place an order, the transaction details are sent to the bank for authorisation. If authorisation is successful, your card will be billed once your order has been packed and is ready for shipment. If authorisation fails, the order will be cancelled.
- Bank Deposit & Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT):
- If you choose this option, our banking details will be provided at checkout and via order received email.
- To ensure your order is processed correctly, please adhere to the following:
- The exact amount must be paid in full.
- Use your order number as the payment reference.
- Email your proof of payment to [email protected].
- Please note, cheque deposits are subject to a clearing period, and we do not accept transfers from ATMs.
- If payment is not reflected in our account within 5 business days, your order will be cancelled.
3. Click & Collect Policy (Pretoria Warehouse)
You are welcome to collect your order from our warehouse in Pretoria.
Collection Process:
- Select the “Collection” option during checkout.
- Wait for the “Ready for Collection” email. Do not attempt to collect before receiving this notification. Please be aware that goods are shipped from various distribution warehouses, and we will notify you as soon as your specific order is ready at the collection point.
- Upon collection, you must provide your order reference number and a form of identification.
- If someone is collecting on your behalf, please confirm this in writing with our team by replying to your order confirmation email.
4. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds Policy
Conditions for Return/Exchange: We accept returns or exchanges within 21 days of the purchase date, provided the item meets the following conditions:
- The item must be in its original, sealed packaging.
- The item must be in 100% unused and original condition.
- For clothing, all original tags must remain attached. Items with removed tags cannot be returned.
Return Process:
- To initiate a return or exchange, please contact our team at [email protected] with your order number and reason for the return.
- The shipping fees for returning the item to our warehouse and sending out a replacement unit are for the customer’s account.
- You are welcome to use your own courier service to return the item to the specified distribution warehouse.
Exclusions:
- No exchanges, returns, or refunds will be offered on clearance items.
- Items that have been used or removed from their packaging are not eligible for return.
Refunds:
- All refunds are processed via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to a valid South African bank account. Please provide your banking details to our team to facilitate the refund.
- Refunds are processed weekly on Fridays.
- For “change of mind” returns on orders over R5,000.00 originally paid by Credit Card, PayFast, or Payflex, the non-refundable transaction fees charged by the payment gateway may be deducted from the refund amount.
